Cabin Construction Update
There are many things happening all at once. The bathroom tile is being installed. Plumbing fixtures and light fixtures are being put in place. The fire alarm system is being finalized. Painting and trim work continue. It will not be long before final inspections. Please be in prayer as our final permit expiration date approaches. Volunteers are still needed in the next few weeks.

What's New

WEB SITE RESOURCES
The web site is being updated at least weekly in preparation for summer. There have been some schedule changes for 2008. Varsity Campers will now choose four activities (increased from three) each week. If you click on "Staff Resources" you will find schedules and other "staff" information. There are a few files that have really are for staff only and have been password protected (these are labeled accordingly). As the directors refine their program plans we are posting their theme - theme verse - and suggested banquet attire.

Retreats and Events

YOUTH RALLY AND SERVICE DAYS
April 18-20
Click on the link above to see a flyer that announces this event. Families are also welcome to join us. There is much to do to prepare for summer and much of the onsite resources are being used for cabin construction.

The list of things that should be done before summer would present a challenge if left to the onsite staff alone, but with many hands, the work is light. Please come for any or all of this weekend.

Family Camp 2008 (Memorial Day Weekend)
Family Camp
May 23-26, 2008
Byron Unger and George (purple person) will be bringing Bible lessons for the whole family!

Although the Lodge is full, there are cabins available as well as rooms in the Dormitory. We slide two bunks together in the cabins to make a king-size bed for the parents. All sleeping areas have central A/C.

NEW MAP TO CAMP HORIZON
Construction on US-441 near Camp Horizon is pretty much completed. Sleepy Hollow has been re-routed to the traffic light at SR-44. You can now turn onto Sleepy Hollow from 441 from either direction. You are about two miles from camp at that new traffic light.
