| MERRY CHRISTMAS |
The staff of Camp Horizon (Steve, Kitty & Dana, and Ralph & Lucy) wish you a very merry Christmas. We thank you for praying with us, praying for us, and for many of you participating with us in this ministry.
| Items for Prayer |
We are often asked for prayer requests. Here are a few current items.
Health (Praise)
Kitty is recuperating from surgery and and is doing very well. Thank you
for praying.
Finances and Utilization (Praise)
While finances remain tight, the Lord provided for our December expenses.
Thank you for praying and for giving.
Equipment - Pray for wisdom and resources. (Praise)
The generator is ready to go online in an emergency. Much thanks to our
friend Randy who gave parts of two weeks to get it all connected. There
is so much to be thankful for.
Camper Followup
We are still considering a camper followup program. Please keep this in
prayer.
Year-Round Collegian
One way that has been used to increase the on-site staffing has been
to host a college student at camp. They can live onsite while they study
at Lake Sumter Community College or the 2+2 UCF program. There is no budget
for a stipend, but we can provide a place to stay at camp in exchange
for helping with retreats and routine maintenance. In the past these have
always been young men. However, there is no reason that a young woman
could not serve with us. Two might be even better.

Men's Bible Study Seminar

All of the facilities
are available for your use during the free activity times. We have archery and rifle ranges, the gymnasium,
the big field, table tennis, and foosball. You may bring whatever sports equipment that
you wish or use what we have available here. The Corporate Meeting
follows lunch. This event is FREE! RSVP with count for lunch by January 13 |

| New Web Calendar |
When you click on "calendar" at the camp website you will now see a Google Calendar. We were using three different calendars that had to updated separately. The web calendar was frequently out of sync with the office calendar. Using the google calendar makes it possible to update just one calendar. It is up-to-date as of today (Canoe Trip dates are still pending).
In addition to camp events you will see speaking engagements for Ralph and Steve, birthdates, anniversaries, and other more personal information. We have decided to leave this on that calendar rather than maintain a separate one.
We hope that this will help you to pray intelligently for this ministry and our families.
