Corrections

As soon as the last e-news went out it was discovered that there were a few errors.
1) The view as a web page link was to an old newsletter (forgot to update the link).
2) The Married Couples date was wrong - it is now corrected.
3) Ommitted the November Soccer Retreat.

This letter has those corrections, a Youth Rally flyer, a link to the Ladies Retreat audio files, and some sad news.

With The Lord

Yesterday (Thursday: 9/17) Ed and Alice Anderson celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary. Before the day was over, Ed was in the presence of our Lord. Ed served on the General Board and the Executive Committee of Camp Horizon. He also served on the boards of other Christian ministries through the years. He and Alice fellowshipped at Brooksville Bible Chapel where he will be missed. This was sudden and unexpected to us, but Ed was always expecting to hear The Shout in his lifetime. So, he was certainly packed up and ready to go when the Lord called.

Winter Events

Annual Corporate Meeting
Family Fun Day
January 16, 2010

All of the facilities are available for your use during the free activity times.  We have archery and rifle ranges, the gymnasium, the big field, table tennis, and foosball.  You may bring whatever sports equipment that you wish or use what we have available here. The Corporate Meeting follows lunch. This event is FREE!

 This retreat is designed to provide refreshment and encouragement to married couples.  The folks who need this most usually have children that need to be cared for.  That is the “+” for this retreat.  You can put your children in Youth Camp while you enjoy a weekend together.
